It is intended to save lives, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity during and after human-made crises and natural disasters. Recent examples of ches: afghanistan, syria, darfur, sudan. Relief supplies, medical, law and order, transport and communication. Usually neutral (regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, age, politics etc. )
