70 bce oldest amphitheatre in the roman world. Everybody in pompeii could go and would t + extra. Not as grand as the flavian amphitheatre. Could get people in and out quite easily. War thing between the pompeii people and people of another town. For 10 years it was closed as punishment to the people. Almost the same size as the amphitheatre. Not good for exercise at that point. Ovens and weird things that grind grain. Most of the population was likely having their clothes washed. Rinse water with clay in it that would soften clothes. Prepare wool the same way so that would take place here as well. People would pick up their meals here. Some freed women, mostly slaves of the madame. Almost every corner of the city had a fountain. The house of the chaste lovers, pompeii. People would take just the wall paintings out of the wall. Divided wall paintings into four different styles.
