Just a museum piece: on the other hand, if christ was not resurrected, christianity is an interesting museum piece. It"s just a nice thought, certainly not worth getting too involved in. An outstanding attack was one contemplated in the 1930s by a young british lawyer. He was convinced that the resurrection was made up and was just fantasy. Considering that this was the basis of the christian faith, he decided to do the world a favor by exposing this fraud and superstition. The case was not as easy as he supposed. It is titled, "the book that refused to be written. " In it, he describes how, when examining the evidence, he began to persuade himself against this desire, by the fact of the resurrection of christ. Death and burial of jesus: jesus" death was a public execution on a cross. Jesus said he was going to pay for our sins.
