Application of marxism to s amer reality. Middle class saw that many workers were indg, needed 2 sppt. Saw inca as model for peruvian socialism. Inspired by marx, but new ideas of eur had to b applied to s amer. President alan garcia (1985, 2006)--first aprista to become president in peru. Brazil v decentralized, vargas centralizes it, est new govt. Govt writes new const on corporatist model.
