Christianity was a very present religion in the world at that time and had lots of power in certain countries. The americans were discovered and the native americans became a minority. 15th century: scramble to africa the african countries were split between different european powers and colonies were created. This made the african population subjugated people and they were being ruled over by european settlers. A racist ideology formed and this ideology was used to justify many actions done to the african population. There were many slave revolts as a result of the settlers enslaving and ruling the people in africa. This revolution was triggered by the french revolution. It followed the same tactics and reasons behind the french revolution.
