East african desert (parts of kenya, somalia, ethiopia) desertification and drought, migration to the friendlier zones people moving from dry savannas to wetter areas. Friendlier wet savanna (temperate southern africa) but carrying capacity under increasing pressure, farthest from the saharan desert.
