Cannon-bard theory: theory that an emoion arousing simulus simultaneously triggers physiological responses and subjecive experience emoion. Two-factory theory: the schachter-singer theory that to experience emoion one must be physically aroused and cogniively label the arousal, Polygraph: machine, common in atempts to detect lies, measures physiological responses accompanying emoions, eg. perspiraion, cardiovascular and breathing changes.
