Every kid with a problem was being diagnosed with autism. Autistic nos - didn"t fit category, but had some of the characteristics. Nos removed from dsm v - now we have spectrum disorders. Good for looking at continuous kind of thing. But also lets you diagnose people who don"t really fit all criteria.
