Our courtships, mourning processes, comfort, distress, cross cultural connection. Can be a gift, a payment, a ritual. There are 45 nutrients that are considered essential to human life. The eucharist - the process in which bread/crackers become the body of christ. The dead were dug up and moved to a central burial mound. Several villages would move their bones to this mound. Prepare the bodies, strip the flesh, wrap them in beaver fur. For them, death doesn"t really occur until the flesh is gone. Bring gifts to the dead and the feast is held and their memory. Alliances can be formed between participating tribes during this time. Aztecs believed that it was their duty to provide blood and human hearts to their god so that he didn"t wreak havoc upon the earth. Believed they were the chosen people and they could only stop the end of the world by feeding the sun flesh.
