How is it that our appetite of sugar has an impact on those who work on sugar plants. How we eat can become an expression of our ideas and beliefs. Expression through food: a single food can have many meanings, food can be relaxing through consumption. Our food consumption goes beyond necessary but there"s a lot of meaning behind it. Food classification system: people tend to classify foods in different ways, according to their culture. Hot/cold=> hot or cold is an intrinsic element of food. You have to eat a certain number of hot foods or cold foods. Food preferences-likes/dislikes: personal palette and individual experiences. Food restrictions: periodic denial of certain food. Pregnant women drinking and smoking or soft. Food taboos cheese with whey: deliberate avoidance of a food item for reasons other than the simple dislike. Cows are sacred in india and not eaten by hindus.
