Document Summary
Using actual buildings makes the piece we saw documentary like long continuous shot, cut scenes to peoples faces to show their emotions, very emotionally fraught film. He sketches out the setting very briefly, the setting is very underemphasized, allows us to focus on the character"s face/emotions. Set is very bare; this makes the characters stand out more. Very upbeat tempo, singing instead of speaking, makes you feel happy. Shot on locations, turns into highly stylized by the way it is shot, over saturated colours. Lots of gestures and movement reaching for the door while trying to look inconspicuous is very reserved. Man waiting for his moment to jump out of the moving car, shows him. Scene is very charged with emotion but the actor gives us nothing he. He is very detailed the glances he has, movements he makes. Very comedic way of speaking with the movements he is making.
