Central debates about communicaion/media and society, to make an argument about the relaionship between media, society/culture, and power. No judgement based on what you"re wriing, its about the persuasiveness of the criteria. Address an opposiional argument, counter argument (but what about?) (some other views suggest ) Present a criique, and provide a rebutal against that. 4 sources (2 scholarly sources, other 2 government sources/news sources) plus the textbook, remember to cite the textbook! Goes in reference page, can use anything from there. Bar on this is higher, improve formaing techniques. If you don"t get your topic cleared by the 15th, that sucks because you have to use the one of the many provided on avenue. Should news organizaions be allowed to own more than one news outlet? (company/organizaion/paper)
