Traditionally we think of brands associated with companies & corporations but think of air. Jordan shoes, which is a brand associated with an individual. Idea of branding extending beyond companies to be associated with individuals. Trademarks are becoming far more prevalent, extension of issues that we would traditionally just associate with businesses but go beyond that. Protecting trademarks internationally: paris treaty can be used, you still have to register w/ other countries but there are bene ts to registering if you sign one of the treaties.
