Education can predict how long and how well you will live. Life expectancy gap between more educated and less educated americanse. Education matters to health more than it did in the past. Americans who do not stay in school are more likely to have diabetes, heart disease and be obese. Life expectancy has increased for certain ethnic groups. More education means higher earnings, means better access to better foods and shelter, and education. Children who grow up in low income homes are less likely to have opportunities for good education, and are more likely to become involved in violence and bad habits like smoking. Education is affecting our economy and our ability to compete globally. Today"s higher paying jobs require more educated workforce. Education funding is most likely to get cut. Health promotion and sdoh planning in the school. Do assessments with principle and look at greatest needs in the school. Look at strategies to meet each of these priorities.
