Anatomical position: body erect, face forward, feet together, palms facing forward. A body part that is located above another body part: e. g. Nose is superior to the belly button. A body part located below another body part: e. g. The belly button is inferior to the nose. A body part that is located closer to the torso compared to another: e. g. The elbow is proximal to the wrist.
