In the past, not everyone had to go straight into the labour force after finishing college could travel and figure out what you want to do. Being discipline into the labour market, think it"s the only way to survive. Normalize this way of life so you don"t see it as abnormal anymore. Always feel under surveillance, act the way we are expected to. Behave as if you are being watched anticipatory conformity (ie. remember the tower that had prisoners in a position where they never knew when they were being watched)
