All languages have a mental grammar, anyone who speaks/understands the language has a mental grammar for that language. What polite/impolite in a variety of situations. The articulatory system: lungs, teeth, tongue, lips and nose enable us to produce speech. The auditory system: ears are sensitive the frequency that are most common in human speech. ** the neural system: because the brain is complex and densely connected as our with so many connections that are dedicated to producing and understand language.
