Conjunction phrase: that i had got into graduate school. Head = the tabby cat, specifier = the, modifier = tabby. Note: preposition phrases can have noun phrases in them, on has more meaning than holiday . Head = on, specifier = really, complement = holiday. Specifier = always (it is a quantifier), head = manages, complement = a smile. Specifier = a, head = course, complement = on.
