In order for music therapy to be deined, it needs to be credited by a music therapist. Must be a therapeuic relaionship for trust, and enable client to engage in the therapy. Not entertainment (example, playing guitar at a nursing home is not music therapy, not credited by a therapist, its purpose is for entertainment not health care goals) Using music and music elements to reach a health care goal. Music therapist build relaionships, and their knowledge about the client, want to get to know you vs. an entertainer. Physical level: measurable in hertz (vibraions/min) to create a tone/note.
