She was wearing a skimpy dress to the club. This entails that she was wearing a dress but it doesn"t survive the negation test. For example, when i say she wasn"t wearing a skimpy dress, it is wrong. So it can"t presuppose that she was wearing a dress: entailment is when the truth of p guarantees the truth of q, this is not a presupposition because it doesn"t survive these tests: 1- negation test (she wasn"t wearing a skimpy dress, the entailment that she was wearing a skimpy dress doesn"t hold)
