A lot of other ancient greeks were writing and thinking of politics, but none got to the central thing as to what politics is, what political life is about and what the end of politics is. It is the inaugural point of western thinking philosophy. The starting point of justice is to look at the nature of politics and man. Plato gets us to think not only how to live but what kind of creatures we are at all. He came from an aristocratic family, deeply involved in politics. His father was descended from the last king of athens and his mother helped to draft the. He lived in a very nervy era, in a greece divided into city-states.
