Across many generations of predation and selection by echolocating bats, moths have evolved the ability to hear sounds that match the frequency range used by most bats when they"re hunting insects using echolocation. Music is more than just a collection of individual notes that are strung together in a certain order. This suggests that what"s important to the perception of this pattern is the relation between the notes and not the individual notes themselves.
