Document Summary

Eating and drinking is about living as well as giving you pleasure (it tastes good nigga) Life dominated by consumption of food and drink. Food doesn"t taste the same without your sense of smell: smell guides the feeding behaviours in humans due to its interactions with the sense of taste. One of the main reasons you feel hungry when you haven"t had food is because of low blood glucose levels. Glucose is important for keeping your body"s functions operating: also the preferred source of energy for the brain. The brain cannot use fat energy stores for fuel which makes regulating glucose levels a top priority: directly relates to hunger. Increase in blood sugar pancreatic insulin secretion: promote the uptake of glucose by the cells for immediate use, stimulate storage of excess glucose as glycogen, excess is stored as adipose fat, loss of appetite. Dip in blood sugar levels liver converts glycogen back to glucose and releases it into the blood.
