Libet"s famous test of free will in the lab. at trinity college in dublin, used a libet-like experimental setup. In these experiments, sub- jects pressed a key when they heard a sound, and the equipment measured the reaction time. In addition, subjects judged their reaction time by reporting the position of a hand on a rotat- ing clock when they thought they pressed the key. These experiments also included an inge- nious twist: transcranial magnetic stimulation (tms).
