Extreme muscle tension, hyperventilating can be painful. Set off in physical situations like when running/working. Can be unpredictable and difficult to control. Worst panic attack was over an hour. First attack caught her completely off guard. Supportive family but focused highly on sister who had borderline personality disorder. Uses humours and jokes as copying mechanism. Cbt has been self-directed which meant that ptsd was largely dealt with on her own.
