Did not get along w other kids. Grade 6: emotional difficulties, lack of trust circle, recommended to see a councillor: did not work out, there was no fit they did not connect well, terminated that relationship, was not effective time. Saw psychiatrist + psychologist @ hospital in pedes clinic. Psychiatrist: talked about medications + treatments: prozac was first, parents were reluctant, explained to parents that if child broke leg, would require crutch. Medication did not fix it, it hid everything. Did group therapy = loved it: learned positive psychology techniques. Did better with medication + group thereapy. Went back into depression terrible thoughts, ideas views of yourself. Describes depression being like a tape recorder saying bad things about self. He falls a lot but always pick himself up, dust himself off and keep walking. After graduation = became it manager for company.
