50 year old right handed women with history of chronic headaches complains of acute onset of double vision and right eyelid droopiness 3 days ago. Experienced blurred vision (word looked fuzzy; seemed to run into each other) Unable to open right eye upon waking up next day. When right eyelid was lifted with fingers, experienced double vision (objects appearing side by side) - double vision most prominent when she looked left but also experienced when looking ahead, up, down, and to the right. Pain in both eyes, heightened when moved around - especially to the left. Migraine headaches, as described in history of patient illness (hpi) No history of diabetes or hypertension thinking both this because may be this is due to how her vascular system is set up - disturbance in blood flow (arties/blood vessels aren"t functioning properly) Mother had migraines and dies at the age of 70 after a heart attack.
