Sex creates life, it is the history of who humans are and what they are today. We are fascinated by it (mostly because we think it is fun) What is sex? (it is interpreted by people differently) Spend a great deal of time talking about evolution . What about non-normative sexuality? (majority of people don"t do it this way) Saying words associated with it makes people giggle or cringe sometimes (ie. when. What is sex? your professor says orgasm or masturbation , students tend to laugh) A lot of people have trouble talking about it comfortably. Dr. kellogg: thought that sex was just morally reprehensible people should not have it or enjoy it, they should do nothing. ^ this is actually not unusual sex is still a big taboo deal. Freud as a pervert: because he had a theory of personality development and mental illness that was based on sexual development and problems associated with sexuality.
