Admits that abductees tend to be american part of reason we know about alien abduction stories is because they permeated our culture. One of the ways american culture gets exported is through media (i. e. movies, music, internet, television). U. s. has perfected art of exporting cultural products. This makes non-americans unaware of what we"re consuming that isn"t always universal specifically american. Canadians consumer american cultural products so we"re thinking in similar way. Tromly talks about how those exports have to do with alien abductions and there"s a common narrative that"s portrayed across all mediums. The demographics of alien abduction: abduction narratives overwhelmingly come from americans.
