Only meaningful within context of one"s own culture. Many scholars agree there is no form of sexual activity that has not been regarded as deviant at some time. Recorded nature & incidence of number sex-related practices. Documented by philosophers, doctors, naturalists, religious clerics. Virginity not valued in same way as today - caused ill health.
