The use of fashion images to project the innocence of children and to reinforce tradiional gender roles. The asexual, non-eroic depicion of anonymous that is non-celebrity children in the images selected for inclusion in this magazine. Magazine uses of recognizable tween pop culture icons to promote certain styles of dress. Tweens exposed to increasingly sexualized fashion: muli-method approach. Oten the best way to reach the widest group of paricipants is through muli-methods. Can involve a survey with in-depth interviews or focus groups, etc. This allows for greater reliability and validity because the muli-method technique balances out the disadvantages of each technique. Also provides a greater range and depth of data from which to draw results.
