For example, communication skills, teamwork skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills. Specific skills are particular talents or abilities that you have developed through special training courses. For example, being able to write and speak a second language, use a certain computer software program, transcribe recordings of interviews. You need to establish your proficiency in relation to these skills meaning if your proficiency is at a beginning level, intermediate level, or advanced level. It can be useful to have an experiential diary. An experiential diary lists tasks that you have performed in previous jobs and the underlying skills needed to perform these tasks. It documents how education or courses helped you to acquire certain skills. Allows for two things: pinpoint your skills and allows you to gather evidence that you have these skills.
