Don"t be afraid to ask questions, we all come from different levels of understanding in this topic. Encouraged to think critically, there will be various perspectives, don"t be afraid of them. Key goal: want you to learn something from someone else and challenge some of the ideas you may have talking into this class. Submit weekly comments prior to class, due monday 5pm on avenue to learn. 1 page to show that you read the reading and somewhat engaged with it. Critical comment on the reading in light of what we talked about or you think we will. Discuss arguments you agree with or don"t. A summary - mention in it if you are not understanding it. Question will be posted february 4th and due february 18 on avenue to learn. The question will be driven and inspired by class discussions.
