First reason it goes on: behavior is interpreted by others-> people say it"s a joke. If someone interprets it as unacceptable, then the harasser should acknowledge that they did make someone feel uncomfortable: the topic of sexual harassment was seldom or ever discussed in school. School failure to address issue which allowed harassment to carry on as normal. A number of ways we see it transpire in society 1) verbal harassment-> objectifying women"s body. 8 different identified of physical means of harassment 1) grabbing 2) fondling 3) touching 4) rubbing 5) pushing 6) kicking 7) slapping 8) choking.
