Powerlessness: denies to make decisions about their living or working conditions 4. Cultural imperialism: is the valuing and enforcement of the dominant groups culture, norms and characteristics 5. Violence: includes physical, sexual and emotional violence, and the the threat of violence, as well as policies and structures that condone violence. Development: growth of the economy over a period of time to deal with poverty.
