Document Summary
Male cancer (similar process of expanding and swelling similar symptoms. false negative and negative). Catherization in male/female is different and male use more tubing. Prostate gland (below bladder and wrap around urethra like a donut). 80% is enlarged, swell and compress not only outward but also inward (donut shape). (ave some screening tests in primary care, a blood test but not great at picking it out so give many. We also do digital rectal exam (not great either lubricate finger, stick in rectum, feel up against side of prostate, problem is you are only feeling (cid:883)/(cid:885) of the prostate so lots of stuffs can be missed. ) Prostate cancer is prevalence, treatable if caught early. Voiding: frequency, urgency, nocturia, dysuria, hesitancy, colour, odour. Frequency refers to going to wc more; not peeing more. Urgency: may wear pads (2ndary protection from accident); may be a sign of infection; overactive bladder; obstruction (kidney stone/ urethra stone).
