This week we will be moving westward, from mesopotamia to the eastern mediterranean and early. The earliest greek civilization is known as mycenaean. Mycenaean civilization collapses circa 1200 bce, and is followed by a period known as the "dark age" in greece as the archaeological record is quite scant.
