Ons (ie. courir, partir, dormir, sortir, venir, couvrir in the nous form end in ons and therefore are not apart of the 2e group but the 3e group. Proffessor"s note : never pronounce the ent at the end of the issent verb. 3e group : verbs that end in re, -oir, -ir.
