First printed products: calendars and grammar books, bible. Printed with razor sharp edge, legibility unmatched. 140 bibles = original plan --> 180 (raised) 1462: storm in mites, civil war. City in ruins: newpapers showed news at the time, thanks to printing tech, gutenberg was given a stipend of wine for his household and tax exemption. Human knowledge was stored thanks to printing.
