Week 10 essay due @ 11am (turn-it-in) Aboriginal people can be broken down into homeless aboriginals, urban. It can be divided by geography aboriginals, aboriginals living on reserves. Think about objective vs. subjective definitions and/or perceptions of health: objective = a person is healthy if their bp is < 120/80, subjective = a person is healthy if they feel good, have no pain, etc. In chn you should be looking @ the objective and subjective health of individuals. It is easier to judge a community than it is to judge a person. If you"re reflecting, you should identify your biases and understand how it will or won"t impact your placement. The health of individuals can"t be discussed, understood or acted upon witout recognizing that humans are social animals that have evolved to live in families, social groups & communities.
