Employment law: is a response to a long history of labor problems and abuses which led to unions and the process of collective bargaining. Government reluctant to pass burden to business (not the right balancing act) business has the right to choose the type of wage they pay to employees. There is a pressure in bc for the government to raise minimum wage. Small businesses/ big business should have different rules ( this is a suggestion)
