W/o interesting setting, story may not be successful. Mise-en-scene - way each shot composed w/i frame has effect on way viewer responds to narrative. Look at how following aspects of composition arranged in particular scenes/in sequence. Organize & present content, set pace of story & mood. Layout - way in which panels arranged in page. Want to design panel layout that is. If panels are making other content unreadable & distracting, they are not working.
