Roundworm; will look like small pieces of spaghetti. Fleas: most common type is the feline flea, feline is smaller than canine, intermediate host to tapeworm. Sprays: used on pet as well as premises, do have a residual effect, scare some cats. Mousse: do have a residual effect, great for cats that can"t be bathed. Powders: not recommended; bad for breathing & messy. If you know a pet has fleas, get them into bath immediately! Cover well with shampoo & let sit (follow directions for time) While waiting, spray table, floor, etc. where animal has been. If previously crated, spray cage & remove bedding. Put bedding immediately into washer using hot water. If you were unaware of problem, phone owner & inform them on the situation & what steps they need to take.
