End of preschool: gender constancy: they realize sex stays the same despite perceptual changes, also understand genital differences. Adaptation of gender behaviours stronger for boys than for girls: clear notion of their own sex and will adopt behaviors characteristic of their own sex, however preferences stronger for males than females. If you"re not strongly stereotyping then you have open to you a whole range of things that you could be interested in! not limited by restricting this: give children pride in whoever they are! Theory of personality and a therapy itself!
