God class: a class that, if you change something, it effects all classes in the project, very tightly coupled with other classes, should be split into multiple classes to reduce the coupling. Increase resources: faster processors, additional processors, additional memory, and faster networks all have the potential for reducing latency. Increase concurrency: if request can be processes in parallel, the blocked time can be reduced. Concurrency can be introduced by processing different streams of events on different threads or by creating additional threads to process different sets of activities. It may be an unauthorized attempt to access data or services or to modify data, or it may be intended to deny services to legitimate users. 3 main characteristics of security called cia: confidentiality. Is the property that data or services are protected from unauthorized access: for example, a hacker cannot access your income tax returns on a government computer.
