Biggest criticism: categorizing people - if you"re a little bit too low on your score then you"re screwed. 3rd criticism: frames mental health as mental illness. Removes a lot of the information and ignores the fact that its a distribution. Only interested in treating people with conditions - not people without. Less and less people have high scores of depression.
