This is known as the interactional process by which a person sends a message to another person. (non-verbally, verbally). Some of the elements/roles that are involved include. The sensory modalities involved when receiving the message. Anything that is interfering with a transmission of a message. (another person) The environment in which the communication is occurring. The context can include the mode, the relationship between sender and receiver, the current mood, and culture. A further look at the context pf a situation can provide us with information regarding to the environment (such as where, when background) but also. Face-face (perceived as serious), e-mail, phone. (the means of which the communication is occurring). Such as boyfriend/girlfriend would have a calmer mood in reference to boss/worker. The way the sender is talking could convey hints to a situation. Goes back to the reference of body language. More convenient to text people wedding invitations but is conformity to send an invitation by mail.
