Family based elder care (the 2000s: the diversification of caregivers, daughters as caregivers (preferred, wives as caregivers- longevity and co-longevity, men (husbands and sons) as caregivers. Long-term care insurance: increased institutionalization of the elderly the notion of generational interdependence challenged to some extent due to macrostructural changes.
