Let"s be honest the global warming debate isn"t about science: pr cis and reflection 3. Roughly 97 percent of climate experts and peer-reviewed studies agree that humans have been the cause of global warming over the last 60 years. However, there is a huge political biased in some media outlets that cover this topic. Mainly conservative media outlets amplify the voices of the 3 percent of deniers, as well as non-scientist contrarians, making it seem like there is more room for doubt than there actually is. Deniers often cherry pick the evidence that fits their narrative while ignoring the evidence that doesn"t. As a science major, i know that there is crystal clear evidence that climate change is caused by human activity. However, whenever i see and/or read about climate change debates, there is usually one person debating another, making it seem as if the debate is 50/50.
