Bees are bene cial insects: honey source of food and medicine also beeswax, crop pollination generates 1/3 of our diet >2 billion dollars in canada in the world it"s. 250 billion a year: main contribution to society is pollination, other hive products beeswax, propolis, venom (used to treat arthritis, entertainment lms, hobby beekeepers. Here in ontario there are about 100,000 hives a lot are rented out to blueberry growers in.
